Lights Camera Action
January 01, 2008 - Lights, Camera, Action…“Old Hollywood”
Becky Paalman, Signature Fundraiser Chair
The stars have arrived! The Junior League of Lansing rolled out the red carpet at the
Country Club of Lansing for our annual Signature Fundraiser on Saturday, November 17.
The Tinsel Town Gala attendees enjoyed an ice sculpture featuring the Bella Blu signature
martini. Attendees also savored wonderful hors d ‘oeuvres and delectable pastries provided
by Bake n’ Cakes, Shorty’s and Troppo. Many tempted Lady Luck playing either
Blackjack or Texas Hold’em and relaxed in our cigar bar while enjoying the sounds of
Victor Traschel.
Fox 47’s Jason Colthorp entertained us all as the celebrity auctioneer for the “Live the Experience” auction.
The Dan Rafferty Band rocked the house and the salsa dancers got everyone to kick their heels up on the dance floor.
And of course, we can’t forget the Graff Chevrolet Corvette raffle or the Becky Beauchine Kulka shopping
spree raffle:
1st prize - $2,500 shopping spree - Ms. Beth Cook
2nd prize – $1,000 shopping spree - Mr. Chad Myers
3rd prize - $500 shopping spree - Ms. Pam Ruth
1 Month Car Lease - Ms. Tracy Jelneck
