TALBOTS GIVESBACK PROGRAM UNDER WAY
January 01, 2008 - Visit www.TalbotsGivesBack.com to order your Talbots Gifts Cards – 10% of your purchase will go directly to your League. To date, more than 92 Leagues have participated in the Talbots GivesBack program. Talbots has sent checks directly to those Leagues – for a total amount of more than $2,500 in less than 8 weeks! The next set of checks will be sent by June 30, 2007.
Don’t forget…There’s an added bonus for the first League to generate more that $10,000 in gift card sales. That League will receive an extra $1,000 from Talbots and a $500 gift card to use for a raffle or silent auction.
To date, the following four Leagues are leading the way…
• Sarasota, FL $2,000
• Fort Lauderdale, FL $1,600
• Schenectady, NY $1,450
• Stamford/Norwalk $1,400
Talbots is excited about the success of this program and looks forward to continued contributions to the Junior Leagues!
Some Leagues have experienced difficulties in working with their local Talbots. Talbots has communicated the relationship with the Junior Leagues in many ways to their store managers, and is continuing to do so. If you have questions or concerns about working with your local Talbots, please contact Philip Tracey at Talbots headquarters, at 781 741 7114, bearing in mind that not every store will be able to accommodate every League request and need.
